Call for papers Special Issue on CIIQ 2025 - Processes and Energy for a Resilient Future

2025-09-23

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for the special issue of Transactions on Energy Systems and Engineering Applications (TESEA) on Processes and Energy for a Resilient Future, featuring selected papers from the XXXI Inter-American Congress of Chemical Engineering and the XXXIII Colombian Congress of Chemical Engineering (CIIQ 2025).

Processes and energy systems are facing unprecedented challenges as industries strive to achieve resilience and sustainability in the face of climate change, resource limitations, and global crises. Innovation in engineering plays a pivotal role in designing efficient, adaptive, and environmentally responsible solutions that ensure both industrial progress and ecological balance.

This special issue of TESEA focuses on exploring innovative approaches in the design, optimization, and integration of chemical, energy, and industrial processes that promote resource efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and enhance adaptability. Through research articles, critical reviews, and applied studies, this issue will provide a platform for advancing knowledge and best practices in building a resilient and regenerative future.
