Abstract

This paper studies the Colombian political reform of 2003 using a set of analytical categories related to the ideas of explanation and intervention. These concepts have been introduced by some recent writings in the analytic philosophy of the social sciences. To carry out this exercise we use evidence showing the position of three groups: congressmen, academics and the executive branch of government.
